Provincial Corrections Recruitment

Interested in a career in provincial corrections? Join us for an Ontario Corrections Officer Information and Recruitment Session on April 28 from 1:00–3:00 p.m. This session is designed to give you a clear overview of what it’s like to work as a Correctional Officer and how to successfully apply.

The session will be led by Samantha, an Eastern Region Recruiter for Provincial Corrections, who supports hiring across the Kingston to Ottawa corridor. Samantha regularly conducts Correctional Officer interviews, attends outreach events and job fairs, and delivers information sessions on careers in corrections.

During this session, participants will:

• Learn about the Correctional Officer (CO) role, responsibilities, and career pathways
• Hear about current and future hiring opportunities, including upcoming new facility builds in Eastern Ontario
• Review the active Correctional Officer job posting, including current vacancies at Brockville Jail
• Walk through the application process step-by-step and see how quick and straightforward it is to apply
• Ask questions during an open Q&A period

Samantha will be sharing a short presentation and recruitment materials during the session.
