Women In Trades

Are you a female aged 15-30 with a passion for the trades?

The EEC is offering a pre-apprenticeship program aimed at successful assisting females in securing meaningful employment in the trades while receiving paid in-class training and a paid transitional work experience, plus mentorship and a paid work placement.

Join us here at the EEC for five weeks of in-class training in which you can earn while you learn, develop a wide range of skills and knowledge that will help to prepare you for career decision making, on-the job skills and knowledge of specific trades.

Women In Trades Overview

Participation in this program results in a chance to work directly in your field of interest, gaining hands-on experience and skills. After completing the in-class portion, participants receive the opportunity to gain paid placement experience to assist in securing meaningful employment.

The Woman in Trades program encompasses different trades including chef, line cook, baker, butcher, meat cutter, plumber, welder, electrician, carpenter, construction and more.
